# cPanel

  • Error during reinstallation of an instance
  • Domain points to an IP address without DNS servers
  • Out of available IP addresses
  • "Refresh Report Data" error

# Error during reinstallation of an instance

Problem: Error: The domain subdomain.example.com may not be created by Y because example.com is already owned by another user.
Solution: Enable "Allow cPanel users to create subdomains across accounts" in cPanel Tweak Settings (opens new window).

# Domain points to an IP address without DNS servers

Problem: The domain points to an IP address that does not use the associated DNS servers.

Solution:

  1. If you are using the quick onboarding method, ensure that the onboarding domain has a wildcard DNS record pointing to your hosting server's IP address.
    Or:
  2. Enable "Allow remote domains" in cPanel's Tweak Settings. For details, check the cPanel Support (opens new window) page.

# Out of available IP addresses

Problem: No more available IP addresses on the system.
Solution: Refer to the cPanel documentation (opens new window) for guidance on resolving this issue when assigning packages with dedicated IP addresses.

# "Refresh Report Data" error

Problem: The "Refresh Report Data" fails with the error: You do not have the features 'rawlog'.
Solution: Ensure "Raw Access Log" is enabled in cPanel/WHM Feature Manager.
