# Super Quick Onboarding

Super Quick Onboarding is the quickest and most efficient method utilized by PanelAlpha end-users to install new WordPress websites. What distinguishes it from the Standard and Quick Onboarding methods is its integration with Extendify platform, which allows for direct management, design, and editing of the website.

Utilize the free trial feature within your billing panel (for example WHMCS) to effectively increase conversion rates.

# Extendify integration

  • Extendify (opens new window) - It is a platform used for creating and customizing WordPress websites with ease. It offers a range of pre-built blocks and templates that can be used for AI-powered website development. Extendify users may design and personalize their websites quickly even if they do not have advanced technical and/or writing skills.
  • To take full advantage of the Super Quick Onboarding, you must previously enable and configure the integration with Extendify as described in the dedicated article. Remember that an active account (opens new window) with the provider is a must.

# Configuration

To offer your end-users the option to create websites in a super quick manner, you must offer a service with a plan with this onboarding method assigned. Let's start from creating a plan:

  1. Navigate to the admin panel: Configuration → Plans and press the Add button.
  2. Proceed to the second step of the plan configuration: Onboarding, there select the Super Quick Onboarding method.
  3. Configure the  Super Quick Onboarding method options.
    • Onboarding Solutions - select the solutions to utilize while installing the website:
      • Extendify -  If selected, after creating the instance, the end-user will be redirected to the WordPress Administration panel where provided by the Extendify plugin and the theme will be automatically installed on their website and the website-builder-like process of creating the site will begin.
    • New Installation Template - If you do not aim at utilizing Extendify, you may impose then an instance template based on which the new website will be created. Such a template will be used by default for creating websites.     Important! Remember that you may pick one option only, Extendify as an onboarding solution or a default instance template. If you set both Onboarding Solutions and Use Template For New Sites to None after creating the instance, the end-user will be redirected to the WordPress Administration panel.
    • After Site Creation - Choose what happens after the installation is complete:
      • Redirect To WP Admin - Enable redirection to the WordPress admin area after site creation. If enabled, specify the delay in seconds before the redirection occurs. This is useful if the SSL configuration takes longer.
      • Disaply Succcess Page & Domain DNS Verification - Enable DNS record verification for the domain after site creation. If verification fails, the necessary DNS records to be configured will be displayed along with the success page.
      • Dispaly Success Page - Only the success page will be displayed.
    • Force installation for new users after login - If selected, the first step after logging into the PanelAlpha client area for new users will always be creating a new instance (this option is recommended and selected by default). If unchecked, creating a new website will be triggered by the end-user manually by pressing the "Add New Site" button.
    • Ask for domain - If selected, clients will be asked to provide a domain before the instance is created (this option is selected by default).
    • Ask for site name - If selected, clients will be additionaly asked to enetr the name for their site.

Additional options:

If the Ask for domain option is not marked, additional configuration fields will appear. The domain will be automatically generated based on the configuration below:

  • Domain used for subdomains - enter the main domain to allow creating subdomains. You will also need to set up a wildcard in the DNS server to ensure that the pages are correctly accessible.
  • Automatic subdomain format:
    • Friendly name based on website name - The subdomain will be generated based on the provided website name, for example: john-blog.mydomain.com. Note that the "Ask for site name" opption must be enabled, otherwise this selection will not be visible.
    • Friendly name random combination - The subdomain will be randomly generated, for example: purplegoose.mydomain.com
    • Specified number - Enter description and the next number based on which a subdomain will be generated, for example: "temp{number}", "100000": temp100000.mydomain.com
    • Random length - Enter the number of signs to generate a subdomain, for example: "10": 4d7wg9r98x.mydomain.com

# Workflow

Now that a plan is ready, let us show you how it is used in practice.

  1. The end-user, after successfully purchasing a service in your billing system (for example: WHMCS), is redirected to the PanelAlpha client area via SSO.

  2. If the Force installation option has been selected, the instance creation is triggered immediately. Otherwise, the client has to manually start creating the website: "Add New Instance" → "Create New WordPress Instance" → "Continue."

  1. If a client owns more than one service, they will now need to select on which product the instance will be created.
  1. If both the "Ask for domain" and the "Ask for site name" options have been enabled: the client has to provide a domain name for their new website and give the site name.
  1. If the "Ask for domain" option is disabled and the "Ask for site name" is enabled: the client has to provide a name of the new website now.
Otherwise, the website is instantly created and the client is redirected to WP-Admin panel. The domain can be easily changed later on after the site is installed by using the "Change Domain" button in the instance details.
  1. After creating the new website (clean installation or created from the template) clients will be:
    • Redirected to WP-Admin, where basic tools can be used to manage the site ("Redirect to WP-Admin" option is enabled, no integration with a platform like Extendify)
  • Informed about a successfully installed website ("Display Success Page" option enabled).

  • Informed about a successfully installed website, with the DNS records to configure ("Display Success Page & Domain DNS Verification" option enabled).

  • Upon pressing the "Manage Your Site" button, clients will be redirected to WP-Admin (no integration with Extendify).

  • Redirected to the Extendify panel for further site configuration (if Extendify is enabled).

  1. For services with Extendify integration applied, the client may now compose their website using the suggestion prompts. These may be:
    • WordPress site subject
    • Website name
    • Goals for your website
    • Website design
    • Additional pages added to the website
    • Plugins installation
  1. Extendify allows for complete, easy and website-builder-like management of the just-created website directly from the WP-Admin panel. The available toolset varies based on your Extendify account type, featuring standard prompts in "Extendify Essential" and AI-powered functionalities within the "Extendify AI" plan.
